Screenshots for Submissions

If your instructor allows file uploads as a submission type, you can upload a file from your computer as an assignment submission. Canvas converts specific file types as previews and supports certain media file uploads. One option is to take a screenshot of your work for submission.

Open Snipping Tool and take a screenshot

Press Windows logo key + Shift + S. The desktop will darken while you select an area for your screenshot.

The screenshot is automatically copied to your clipboard.
To save the snip, click on the pop up of your screenshot. This opens up the full snipping tool for editing and saving.
