What is Canvas?

Canvas is the Learning Management System from Instructure that champions the idea that education is not one-size-fits-all, but a journey for everyone. No matter where or how we choose to learn, education should be just as accessible and unique to every person. Learning can happen in person, online, or a blend of the two with the use of Canvas.

These are the basics you will learn about in this Canvas course.

1. Explore Dashboard and Navigation:

Familiarize yourself with the dashboard to access courses, assignments, grades, and announcements.

2. Explore Assignments 

Learn how to find assignments and due dates.  Familiarize yourself with screenshots and submissions.

4. Edit Your Notifications 

Regularly check for announcements, assignments, and grades to stay up-to-date on your child's progress.
